A day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro can be a great addition to your Expert Africa safari. This trip starts at about 6:30 am. You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi town, then the drive takes about 2 hours from Arusha and 1 hour from Moshi. When you arrive at Marangu gate, you will meet your professional Kilimanjaro climbing guide and register yourself, ready for climbing. At about 8:30 am, you will start the climb.
